Content Types Explained

Here is a summary of the content types in the Knowledge Base:

  • Articles - Articles explain, expand, or elaborate on topics (e.g. how things work, design intentions, usage scenarios).
  • Cheat Sheets - Cheat Sheets present reference information as a quick view.
  • Checklists - Checklists present a simple list of checks to perform ("what to check for")
  • Guidelines - Guidelines present the “what to do”, “why”, and “how”.
  • How Tos - How Tos are steps to execute an end to end task.
  • Scenarios and Solutions - Scenarios and Solutions are mini problem and solution pairs organized around common scenarios.
  • Templates - Templates give precise instructions. They show an example of what good looks like inline where possible.
  • Visuals - Visuals are figures and illustrations used throughout Getting Results.
